Ash Benoist (she/her) is an elder millennial, Mexican American, cisgender woman, mom, wife, sister, and former foster parent. She is a full-time litigation attorney, part-time podcaster, and all-the-time anxious mess.

As a mom and history lover, Ash always takes her kids' history lessons to a whole new level. A question about Columbus Day leads to the Trail of Tears. Listening to "Rewrite the Stars" turns into a talk about Loving Day. She knows there is always another perspective to share, another anecdote to expand upon, or another person the history books forgot to mention. This podcast is just another way to take it to a whole new level-- and bring you all along for the ride.

Ash lives in Missouri with her husband, their daughters, and their many pets. 

CJ Dearing (they/them) is a non-binary, genderqueer millennial, as well as neurodivergent. In addition to podcasting and audio editing, they work full-time as a copywriter and editor.

After coming out and no longer drinking, CJ realized how society has misled entire generations into believing that people who are different should be silent and invisible. Everything should be pushed under the rug, and as a result, important history was pushed under the rug. This podcast allows them to pull out the dust bunnies and show the world that diverse communities should be loud, visible, and proud. 

CJ's dream is to open a B&B in Ireland and record podcasts remotely.
